The Merkaba

What is a merkaba?

Definitions vary, however all definitions include the concepts of light and consciousness.
In the Keys of Enoch, it is defined as*the "divine light vehicle used by the Masters to probe and reach the faithful in the many dimensions of the Divine Mind." This definition insinuates that the Ascended Masters use the merkaba as a connection to the human levels of consciousness.

In the Pleidian Workbook by Amorah Quan Yin the merkaba is defined as "any vehicle made of light and consciousness in which an individual being or group may travel through or beyond time and space- as opposed to a mechanistic means of transport such as cars, airplanes, or mechanical spaceships."

This definition illustrates the capacity of the merkaba to move and also employs the concepts of time and space. The latter definition suggests indirectly that some other force than mechanics causes the merkaba to move. I infer that may be called soul force , will, or perhaps intention. It breaks down like this: Mer= light Ka=spirit Ba=physical body

The simple explanation is referred to as the light body. In Egypt, there were nine known light bodies. After nine light bodies are activated, we are supposedly ascended in a physical body without the requirement to. Some call activated light bodies "enlightened." As is obvious, the English language must be combined with one's imagination in order to even come close to defining the merkaba in a concrete manner. It is useful, I hope to notice that perhaps each author's definitions leave a great deal of room for you, the reader to interpret.

It does of course require some training to open the third eye and "see" your own merkaba. If you were a healer in another time and place, it may be much easier. I find it very easy to see using a crystal on my third eye. In fact, it is quite a fun adventure to be guided by your higher self and the Ascended Masters to the Cities of Light, underneath the Great Sphinx' paws to the underground waterways, or whatever location appeals to you. Spirits love to play! Telos (Mt. Shasta) might be exciting. So, get into your merkaba and have a blast! 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Blast off!
