The sea expands consciousness by affecting one's emotional body, soul, and by influencing one's awareness. These attributes are , of course intangible, yet one only need to witness the flocks of
people who line the California coast at sunset to notice how the sea draws us in. Why are people
drawn to the sea?
Thousands of people gaze at the water's edge each and every day to admire the beauty and vastness of this great body of water. What is really happening as their eyes gaze into the water? A trance-like state hypnotizes our consciousness leading us to expand our perceptions, awareness , and eventually evolving our consciousness to a higher level. As we gaze over the water waiting for the sun to set or even rise, our physical size is so small that we instinctively know we are part of a much larger planetary vastness. We know we are but one drop connected to a larger "sea of consciousness." We know we are part of a divine order that our eyes are attempting to grasp as we gaze over the ocean.
Still, why are we drawn to the sea? It is because our bodies are over 70% water, and because our emotional bodies use water as a transformer of pain, suffering, toxic release to name a few states
that need transforming. The emotions can relax and release around large bodies of water.
